What is the Air Ventilation System (AVS)?
The Air Ventilation System reduces the intake of air, which is a potential cause of colic and spit up.

Are Lansinoh® nipples BPA-free?
Yes, Lansinoh® NaturalWave® nipples are BPA/BPS free.

Are Lansinoh® nipples dishwasher safe?
Lansinoh® NaturalWave® Nipples are dishwasher safe on the top rack only. However, to extend the life of the NaturalWave® Nipple, it is recommended to gently handwash.

Can the Lansinoh® nipples be sanitized in boiling water?
Yes, the Lansinoh® NaturalWave® Nipples can be sanitized by boiling in water. Please be sure that there is ample water in the pot, so that no parts of the nipples touch the bottom or the sides of the pot, as this could cause them to melt.

Can the NaturalWave® Nipple be used with other bottles?
The NaturalWave® Nipple is designed for Lansinoh® bottles and will not fit on other wide-sized bottles. We do not recommend using our nipple with any other bottle because we have not tested their bottle with our nipple.

What flow options do the Lansinoh® NaturalWave Nipples come in?
Lansinoh® NaturalWave® Nipples come in slow, medium and fast flow depending on baby’s needs. Babies flow preferences often have to do with the way they feed at the breast. Since all babies and their preferences are different, Lansinoh® offers three choices, as one flow type does not work for all.

There are slow, medium and fast flow nipples. Is there a way to tell them apart?
On the bottom rim of the nipple, the slow-flow nipple reads “Size 2S”, the medium-flow reads “Size 3M” and the fast-flow reads “Size 4L”.

Can a nipple brush be used to clean the nipple?
Yes, a nipple brush can be used to clean the NaturalWave® Nipple if necessary. It is important to be gentle and not poke the brush through the hole, as it is very small, and this action can compromise the silicone. The nipples can also be soaked in warm soapy water, rinsed and air dried, or placed in top rack of the dishwasher.

How often should I replace the NaturalWave® Nipple?
We suggest inspecting the nipple for wear/tear daily and recommend changing the nipple every 7 weeks. If the silicone is torn or compromised in any way, discard it. Avoid leaving the nipple in direct sunlight, heat, or disinfectant (“sanitizing solution”) for longer than instructions recommend as this may weaken the nipple.

How to tell when to use a different size nipple flow?
While using NaturalWave® Nipple, there is no exact age when to switch the flow of nipple for a child. The best way to tell is by being mindful of their feeding habits. For example, if a child is sucking for a long time but still unable to get milk out as quickly as they used to, then that is an indication that they may need a faster flow nipple. However, if milk is spilling onto the baby’s neck while feeding then that is an indication that they will need a slower flow nipple.

Can the bottles be warmed and heated in a microwave?
No, it is NOT recommend heating breastmilk or any liquid for a baby or toddler in a microwave as the microwave can create hot spots and damage breastmilk nutrients. It is NOT recommend heating the bottle in the microwave in any form.

Ryan ★★★★★

The slower flow rate is perfect for my baby, who was getting overwhelmed with faster nipples. It's great that it mimics breastfeeding; she's been switching between bottle and breast much easier now.

Joshua J. ★★★★★

My little one latches right away with these nipples, and the slow flow seems to match nursing perfectly. No fussing or confusion between breast and bottle now.

Mia ★★★★★

I was worried about switching from breastfeeding to bottles, but these nipples mimic the natural latch so closely that my baby didn’t even notice the difference. They’re soft yet durable and really do help reduce that dreaded nipple confusion.

Robert ★★★★★

My little one took to these immediately with no fussing at the bottle—the natural sucking action really seems to make the difference. The flow is gentle enough that she doesn't choke, yet she's finishing her feeds faster than before.

Robert T. ★★★★★

I was worried about switching from breastfeeding to a bottle, but the wider base really helped her latch on naturally. The flow seems just right for a breastfed baby, not too fast.

James O. ★★★★★

My little one took to these right away—the softer silicone mimics breastfeeding so well that we’ve had zero confusion. The slow flow rate is perfect for paced feeding, and they’re easy to clean. So glad we made the switch.

Stella ★★★★★

The wide base really helps my baby keep a deep latch, and I love that it mimics the breast so closely. After switching to these, feedings feel much more natural and relaxed for both of us.

Samuel ★★★★★

My little one finally latched without fussing—the shape is so much closer to what she's used to. I love that the flow is slow enough to match breastfeeding. Might just buy another pack for backup.

Chloe E. ★★★★★

These nipples really do help with that back-and-forth from breast to bottle—the natural sucking motion is spot on. My little one took to them immediately and there’s been no confusion at all.

Riley ★★★★★

The "no-drip" feature is a lifesaver when I'm half-awake, though I wish the flow rate were a tad faster for my older, more impatient baby. Still, it’s a solid choice for keeping things natural.
